Panama, October 7, 2026 — Oktsec is meeting with prospective customers in Panama and working to close pilot agreements for cybersecurity and secure AI adoption. Founder Gustavo Aragón is meeting with people from the private sector to define where Oktsec can help, agree on the work to be tested and understand the training their teams need.

The visit is part of Oktsec’s commercial development in Latin America. It follows the company’s participation in ACE Barranquilla and brings the focus to customer needs: protecting business systems, evaluating AI workflows and helping employees use new tools safely.

From customer conversations to pilot agreements

The priority in Panama is to identify a concrete problem with each prospective customer and turn it into a pilot with a defined scope. That means agreeing on the systems involved, the people responsible and the results the customer needs to see before deciding whether to expand the work.

These conversations cover three connected areas:

  • Cybersecurity assessments. Identify weaknesses in applications, infrastructure and AI workflows, reproduce the findings and give the customer’s engineering team a clear path to remediation.
  • Security for AI agents. Review the tools and data an agent can access, define which actions require approval and test whether those limits hold during real tasks.
  • Training for adoption. Help technical teams, managers and employees understand what they can delegate to AI, what information they can share and when a person needs to intervene.

Testing security where agents do real work

As companies connect AI to internal systems, the security question becomes practical: what can the software read, change or send on their behalf?

For example, a coding agent may need to read a repository and propose a fix. Access to production credentials or permission to deploy is a separate decision. A useful pilot tests that boundary in the customer’s workflow and produces a record the team can review.

Oktsec brings together security assessments, controls on agent actions and verifiable decision records. The work connects findings to changes a customer can make and test: narrower permissions, approval for sensitive actions and evidence of how configured controls behaved.

Building on the relationships formed at ACE

At ACE Barranquilla, Aragón received the Partnership Catalyst Award and signed 15 letters of intent with people and organizations from 10 countries. The letters opened opportunities to explore cybersecurity, AI and professional training across the region.

In Panama, the immediate focus is commercial follow-through: meeting prospective customers, moving pilot discussions toward agreement and defining the work required to begin. Customer feedback will help Oktsec refine both its technology and the support organizations need to put it into practice.

Discuss a pilot with Oktsec
